class today

Class was really interesting today. It was really nerve-racking and the tension was so high in the room. It was amazing to sit in the room and to feel all of it. It really brought Learning Denied to life. I haven't really had much experience with special needs children. I've never really had them in my classes and we really don't have any in my observation class. I wish I had experience with them because I would know how to relate better but I don't. I know it is going to be a struggle for me to be comfortable with them and to keep focused on how to help them instead of just brushing them off. As tense as the class was today, it really helped for us to realize the extremity of the whole situation.
